Unemploymentville.com<\/a>, a place for anyone who has felt the sting of being out of work, is looking for reader contributions to the blog and we\u2019re willing to PAY for them.\u00a0 <\/strong>However as the website has become more popular the competition for guest posting is tougher and I’m sorry to say I’m not able to respond to all queries.<\/p>\n

What kind of writing do we want?<\/strong><\/p>\n

– ideas and resources for people who want to start a business (or a side-hustle)\u00a0*NEW<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

– stories of earning a living (or trying to) by getting gigs rather than a job.<\/strong><\/p>\n

– UNIQUE job search techniques or shifts in mindset or techniques that made a difference in your results or happiness
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

– personal stories about <\/strong>dealing with the financial or emotional challenges of being out of work<\/p>\n

Minimum length is 350 words and I prefer that you supply one or more free images that can be used with your post.\u00a0 If I choose to publish your post, you can search on Pexels.com<\/a> or Unsplash.com for something that fits your topic.<\/p>\n

Here is a list of past articles<\/a> that we’ve published <\/strong>on Unemploymentville.com, so you can get some idea of what we like, but also topics that have already been covered.<\/p>\n

We are only considering submissions every other month.\u00a0<\/strong> Please email only in odd-numbered months: January, March, May, July, September and November.<\/p>\n

Response Time:<\/strong> I’m very sorry that I can’t respond to all emails.\u00a0 If you haven’t heard in 3 weeks then please assume I’m unable to use the article at this time.\u00a0 Sometimes this happens not because of any flaw in your submission but because I have too many other articles or activities already begun.<\/span><\/p>\n

Minor editing will be done on accepted articles.\u00a0 You are allowed an \u2018About the Author\u2019 section which can contain up to two links and can be up to 10% as long as the article you wrote.<\/p>\n

Maybe you\u2019re a little further in your writing journey, but definitely not earning the kind of money you need, then I\u2019d recommend Write Your Way to Your First $1K<\/a><\/p>\n

Another Option is\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Writing Kindle books.\u00a0 Again, some writers say they sell only a couple books a month, not enough to justify the time and money they invested.\u00a0 Yet\u2026. Other writers claim to earn their monthly car payment through residual book income.\u00a0 What\u2019s the difference?<\/p>\n

Here the expert is Dave Chesson, the \u2018Kindlepreneur\u2019 who writes a blog and has a podcast also by that name. Dave offers a Free 5-Day Amazon Ads Course<\/a> that helped me a lot.\u00a0 Or you might want to check out his article on how to choose a book category<\/a> (useful before or after you write your book).<\/p>\n
